How to choose the material of sheet metal processing? Now the sheet metal manufacturers tell you: 1, copper; mainly conductive parts, the surface treatment is nickel plated, chrome plated or not processed, and the cost is high.
2, hot-rolled plate SHCC, material T or more 3.0mm, is also used electroplating, baking paint parts, low cost, but difficult to shape, mainly using flat parts.
3, galvanized sheet SECC, SGCC. SECC electrolysis plate is divided into N material and P material. N material is mainly used for surface treatment and high cost. P material is used for spraying parts.
4, stainless steel; it is mainly used without any surface treatment and high cost.
5, cold rolled sheet SPCC, sheet metal processing mainly uses electroplating and baking paint parts, low cost, easy to shape, material thickness is less than 3.2mm.
6, aluminum profile, complex cross-section material, used in a variety of boxes. The surface is treated with the same aluminum plate.
7, aluminum plate; generally used surface chromate (J11-A), oxidation (conductive oxidation, chemical oxidation), high cost, silver plated, nickel plated.
The common sheet metal processing materials show that 1. stainless steel SUS304, one of the most widely used stainless steel, because the steel containing Ni (nickel) is more corrosion resistant and heat-resistant than the steel containing Cr (chromium), has very good mechanical properties, no heat treatment hardening phenomenon, no elasticity.
2. stainless steel SUS301, Cr (chromium) content is lower than SUS304, corrosion resistance is poor, but after cold processing in stamping process can get good tensile and hardness, good elasticity, mostly used for spring spring and anti EMI.
Hot dipped galvanized steel SGCC and hot-dip galvanized steel rolls refer to the semi-finished products that will be hot rolled or cold rolled. After cleaning and annealing, they are immersed in the melting zinc groove of about 460 C, and the steel sheet is plated with zinc layer, and then made by tempering and leveling and chemical treatment. The SGCC material is harder than the SECC material and has poor ductility (avoiding deep drawing design). The zinc layer is thick and the electric welder is poor.
4. galvanized steel plate SECC, SECC bottom material is the general cold rolled steel coil, after the continuous galvanizing line after degreasing, acid washing, electroplating and various post-processing processes, that is to become galvanized products. SECC not only has the mechanical properties and approximate machinability of cold-rolled steel sheets, but also has superior corrosion resistance and decorative appearance. It has great competitiveness and substitution in the market of electronic products, household appliances and furniture. For example, the common use of computer boxes is SECC.
5. the ordinary cold rolled sheet SPCC and SPCC refer to the continuous rolling of ingots through the cold rolling mill to make steel sheet or sheet material with required thickness. There is no protection on the surface of the SPCC. The exposure to the air is very easy to be oxidized, especially in the wet environment, the speed of oxidation is accelerated, the dark red rust appears, and the surface should be painted, electroplated, or other protective surfaces.
