American model: automatic production safety and reliability
Luo Baihui, the Secretary General of the international mould and hardware plastic industry supplier Association, believes that the biggest difference between Chinese and American stamping and sheet metal processing enterprises is the different level of automation and information.
First, the closed-loop production automation adopted by American enterprises is more secure and reliable, and is convenient for the maintenance of the entire production line. The enterprise has its tooling maintenance workshop, and various sensors are installed or embedded in the mold. The application of these sensors greatly improves the safety and reliability of the whole production line.
Second, the safety awareness of American stamping and sheet metal enterprises is high. The safety grating is installed on the press. When the worker approaches the press, the pressure is automatically shut down, thus ensuring the safety of the workers.
Thirdly, American enterprises have their own management information system. The materials supplied by the raw material suppliers are all provided with bar code, and all kinds of information of the raw materials will automatically enter the production database by scanning during storage. As the raw material enters the processing process, the computer hosts in each processing link automatically input the processing information into the database, which will be attached to the final product.
